Chef Kenny Atkinson’s first London restaurant brings the flavours of the Côte d’Azur to the heart of the city – seasonal plates, refined cocktails, and a rooftop terrace above Old Street.

Solaya is the first London restaurant by award-winning Michelin-starred chef Kenny Atkinson.
Kenny is a born & bred Geordie and a professional chef for over 29 years. As Chef Patron of House of Tides and Solstice, he is the first chef to hold two separate Michelin stars in Newcastle. Solstice has recently been awarded No.67 in the Top 100 Restaurant Awards in the UK.
Kenny has become a well known face on TV, winning the Great British Menu in 2009 and 2010.
Kenny is the concept chef and leads on menu and creation with day-to-day kitchen operations overseen by Head Chef Nicola Losquadro, previously the Head Chef at Sucre and, before that, at Mere.
Restaurant
One of the best restaurants in Shoreditch, Solaya offers modern French-Mediterranean dining inspired by the sun-drenched flavours of Southern France. The menu is seasonal, ingredient-led, and designed to be shared – from delicate starters refined plates by Michelin-starred chef Kenny Atkinson. Cocktail Bar
One of the best bars in Shoreditch, the Solaya bar and rooftop terrace is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm. The cocktail list takes cues from the South of France – expect aperitifs, sharp sours, and a serious wine selection with strong French and Mediterranean influence. Golden Hour runs Tuesday to Saturday 5–7pm with £8 Petit Martinis. DJ nights on Fridays and Saturdays make it one of the coolest bars in Shoreditch after dark.
